As one of the world’s largest youth-serving NGOs, JA Worldwide prepares young people for employment and entrepreneurship.

For 100 years, JA has delivered hands on, experiential learning in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. We create pathways for employability, job creation, and financial success.

Each year, our network of over 465,000 volunteers serves more than 10 million students in over 100 countries.
Formerly Young Achievement Australia
From 1977 to 2009, Young Achievement Australia (YAA) was Australia's premier Business Skills Program for high school and university students that existed between 1977 and 2009. As an active member of the JA Worldwide network, over 200,000 participants took part in YAA programs across Australia and also in JA Asia Pacific and JA Worldwide competitions and events.

After YAA closed its doors after 2009 due to the global financial crisis and a decrease in funding, several alumni came together to take action to relaunch YAA with its first pilot program in 2016 for 100 university students. This resulted in restarting the program and rejoining the JA Worldwide network as JA Australia.
